Microsoft – XBox x Metro Exodus

This assignment was a surprise in many different ways. It came out of nowhere, and I was the sole creative on the project. The budget was tight (but when isn't?), and the deadline was even tighter. Luckily, the goal was simple – create an engaging content aimed at the superfans of the post-apocalyptic Metro franchise.


With a generous help from a coworker who happened to be a paper craft artist, we decided to feature the Aurora, a steam locomotive heavily featured in the game, and the process of building a 3D model in a super dramatic way. The result is a very tight short video beautifully matched to Metro Exodus’s look & feel. Oh, and we got to publish the papercraft model on the Metro Exodus website, too. That's pretty cool.
