Total creative control. Oh my.
This assignment was a surprise in many different ways. It came out of nowhere, and there was no other creatives other than me. The budget was tight, and the deadline was even tighter. Luckily, the goal was super simple – create an engaging content for the upcoming Metro Exodus release for Xbox.
From concepting to storyboarding to production, it was one of the smoothest projects I’ve been ever a part of. And, I got to own all the creative decisions for the project. Thanks to a coworker who is also a talented papercraft artist and generous people from Venture Visuals, the result is a dramatic short video beautifully matched to Metro Exodus’s look & feel. Oh, and we got to publish the papercraft model on the Metro Exodus website, too.
